Our History
William Chapman began his grocery career in 1921 when he established a local route to sell fresh lake fish from his truck to area residents.
In 1924 he purchased the property and buildings at 9202 Ridge Rd and opened a small grocery store. William retired in the late 1930 when his 2 sons took over the business.
Now Chapman's Market is a home town staple that offers residents of Middleport not only amazing and personalized service, but delicious food made to order!
